The Practitioners

Val Iwasco has spent most of his life helping people with their health and well being. He has practised as a Naturopath for the past 20 years. For the past 7 years he has been teaching Naturopathy and guiding clinical students at The School of Natural and Complementary Medicine at Southern Cross University in Lismore. Val has also been an organic farmer, makes quality massage tables and is the father of two.

Jacinta McEwen has been practising the healing arts for over twenty years, working individually as well as facilitating workshops and trainings in Australia and overseas. Initially trained as a Nurse at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, she went on to become a Naturopath, Herbalist, Massage Therapist Yoga teacher and Ayurvedic consultant. She has a particular interest in cleansing and has been specialising in cleanse support for many years. She is also a lay midwife and an expert in mother and baby healthcare.
Jacinta currently offers naturopathic consultations, yoga and bodywork as well as Ayurvedic treatments such as Shirodara, Nasya, Khati Basti, Ayurvedic massage and Ayurvedic lifestyle support. Elvian Drysdale is trained as a Naturopath, Herbalist, Homoeopath and Passion Mapper, she primarily supports individuals through transitions. She has spent the past 15 years as a facilitator of holistic health, working with individual rhythms and cycles of health and whole being. Elvian has raised five children. She is the senior women’s facilitator of the “Pathways Foundation’ a project that runs contemporary rites-of-passage adventures to support the transition from adolescence into man/womanhood in a healthy, proud way. Elvian also offers passion mapping, and infuses Mullum Herbals with her warm passion.

Carlie Woodward is a Naturopath trained in herbal medicine, nutrition, massage and homeopathy.She is passionate about assisting individuals in developing their own understanding of good health and well being. A mother of two beautiful daughters, Carlie enjoys sharing her knowledge and her experience of pregnancy, birth and motherhood to support women in their birthing journey and to nurture vibrant health in children throughout their formative years.

Our naturopaths are members of the Australian Traditional-Medicine Society and rebates for consulatations and other services can be claimed from participating private health care funds
